We focus on infrastructure, ecosystem building, and audience development to increase deal flow and total investment to a greater number of Diverse and Black-owned media platforms, amplifying their voices to help build a more equitable future.

Established in 2004, Parlé Magazine began as a bi-monthly urban entertainment print publication. The print publication featured some of the biggest names in urban music, urban literature and urban film. Parlé Online was established in November of 2009. “Parlé” is a french word, which means to speak, talk or converse. The goal of Parlé Magazine has always been to be an outlet for individuals to have a conversation about urban entertainment. They still strive in covering the biggest names in urban entertainment, through interviews and entertainment news. They also open up important conversations for the urban community with our lifestyle pieces on politics, relationships, health and wellness and much more. Parlé Magazine was created by Kevin Benoit, and he continues to work as the magazine editor to this day.

Founded in 2014, Watch The Yard has quickly become a leading destination for Black news, culture, and conversation online. Their interactive, international, and intergenerational community attracts over 1 million people across the African diaspora each month. Their mission is to empower the next generation of leaders, builders, and doers by digitizing Black college culture, archiving Black legacies, and celebrating their contributions.
Luz is changing the face of media. Publishing stories, building community, and redefining the U.S. Latina experience. Luz celebrates Latina strength, creativity, and success through storytelling. They promote Latina individuality and go beyond the stereotypes and superficiality of most mainstream stories. Their storytelling lens is authentic and real, and informed through the life experience of living in the hyphen as Latina-Americans. They bring Latinas together in community and tell their stories authentically and unapologetically.
